Tickets now on sale for Ford Ka raffle!

A local businessman has organised a raffle with a brand new motor up for grabs -and it’s all in a bid to further boost funds for his fundraising Appeal to help save and rebuild lives in Pakistan.

The Emaan Foundation Raffle, is the latest fundraising initiative organised by Nas Khan, managing director of Jennings Motor Group, to help the flood-stricken victims of Pakistan.

Raffle tickets, which are priced at £50 per ticket, have now gone on sale and are available to purchase at JenningsFord, Mazda and SEAT dealerships across the region.

With only 300 tickets available, members of the public are being warned to be quick off the mark if they want to get their hands on the brand new FordKa 1.2 Studio, 3 door model worth more than £9000.

Mr Khan, who is originally from Pakistan and moved to Britain at the age of 14, launched the fundraising appeal towards the end of September.

The overall aim of the Appeal is to raise £120,000 which will provide essential aid, in addition to building a village consisting of 60 homes, livestock and a deep tube well for clean drinking water, for the people of Rahim Yar Khan, south of Punjab.

Within five weeks of the Appeal being launched, fundraising topped the £40K mark.

Nas Khan, said; “I would like to re-iterate my sincere appreciation for the kind generosity of the people of the North East who have contributed towards the Appeal reaching the £40K mark.

“I am delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for the raffle to win a brand new FordKa, which we expect will boost funds and take us a step further in achieving our £120,000 fundraising target.

“The raffle is a small part of many more fundraising events to take place over the coming months.”

To purchase a ticket, members of the public can contact any Jennings dealership at Middlesbrough, Stockton, Sunderland, Gateshead or South Shields, or contact Bev Stephenson on 01642 209113.
