Fundraising events boost funds to £7K mark for charity’s latest Appeal

Twofundraising events for The Emaan Foundation’s latest appeal to build a healthcentre for the people of Pakistan, have boosted funds to the £7K mark.

A grand total of £3133 wasraised at a recent golfing event that took place at Teesside Golf Club, inaddition to just over £445 at the Eid Fusion Festival, organised by Friends ofRopner Park in Stockton.

A total of 13 teams teed offat the golf club for an enjoyable day on the course.  The winning team received trophies, inaddition to there being prizes for the longest drive and nearest to the pin.  Guests enjoyed a meal at the Clubhouse, wherean auction and raffle also took place.  

Nas Khan, founder of The EmaanFoundation and managing director of north east-based Jennings Motor Group,said; “I would like to thank everyone for their continued support.  We have held several golfing events at TeessideGolf Club and each time it just gets bigger and better. 

“This is also the secondconsecutive occasion we have supported the local Eid Festival, which is theperfect platform to promote the charity and raise funds and awareness about ourcurrent fundraising Appeal.”

Jennings Ford’s Transit Centrein Middlesbrough also supported the event by donating the use of two Transitmini-buses for a park and ride system on the day.
